Great service, very warm welcoming by staff! I'm very satisfied with my sandwich! I will definitely come here again for quick bit to eat.

I am giving two stars for the friendly service here. However, we wouldn't come here again. The food was not good, which is weird given how many four and five star reviews there are for this place.
I had the gyro sandwich and the meat was strange, like somewhat mushy slabs, not like the freshly shaved meats off the spit like I had in European kabob shops.
I thought the prices were on the high side for what we got. -

Finally, we got around to visiting the Tanger Kabob. It's a nice Mediterranean restaurant. We had delicious beef kabobs. Service was quick and they have assorted alcoholic beverages. The ice tea was not good. They have open mic night on Wednesday's & karaoke on Thursdays. It's located in the small shopping area on Telegraph next to Burke & Herbert. Definitely want to try this neighborhood place again.

At first, this culinary hole-in-the-Wall might be seen as roadside scenery, but it is worth a look see. This Moroccan kabob joint offers a pretty solid Mediterranean menu that does a nice job transporting your taste-buds to a middle eastern state of yumminess.
I opted for an order of traditional hummus and a tasty gyro. My gyro was packed with lamb and all the fixings--in many ways, it's the perfect meal. My hummus on the other hand was a bit lemony for my taste.
This kabob house has a cute little bar inside and serves some refreshing Turkish beer. However, as nice as the bar is, the location is somewhat problematic. It is really difficult to turn that steering wheel into this strip mall when you're speeding down Telegraph Road on your way toward better things. My dissatisfaction with the location makes me wonder if they deliver, because if they did, I think that would make them one of the only Mediterranean restaurants in the area that delivers.. score!! -

We loved this restaurant and stopped there for lunch salads and were thrilled to have found such a great place. We ordered the Tanger and the Greek Salads and they were huge, fresh and delicious. We had the grilled salmon with the greek salad and it was succulent a so fresh. We also tested the falafel and they were the best I have ever had in the DMV. We also ordered the there babas with pitas and they were so good we took two more orders home! We are so full we could hardly move. The food was delicious and we loved the very unique Tanger salad. The owner's wife waited on us and she was delightful. We were so excited to find it and will definitely return on a regular basis for this delicious and healthy food.
